Working principle
The milling cutter to be ground is fixed on the rotating spindle of the equipment through a special chuck. The built-in positioning system of the equipment automatically detects the geometric parameters of the tool (such as cutting edge length, diameter, etc.) to ensure precise relative positioning between the tool and the grinding mechanism.
The operator inputs the specification information of the milling cutter (such as number of flutes, clearance angle, etc.) through the display screen in the right control area. The CNC system of the equipment generates the corresponding grinding trajectory and processing parameters according to the preset algorithm.
Automatic Grinding Execution:
The CNC system drives the grinding wheel to perform grinding operations on the cutting edge, flank face and other parts of the milling cutter according to the set trajectory. During the process, the sensing system of the equipment real-time monitors data such as grinding force and position deviation, and automatically adjusts the movement state of the grinding wheel to ensure grinding precision.
After the grinding process is completed, the equipment stops automatically. The operator can take out the milling cutter and check the grinding effect through supporting detection tools (or the built-in detection module of the equipment) to confirm whether the precision requirements are met.
