A: Tap water is fully applicable-no need for special treated water. The key is to ensure a steady water flow (about 1-2L/min) to cool the pad and flush dust; avoid using muddy or high-sediment water, as it may clog the pad's abrasive gaps and reduce polishing efficiency.​

2.Q: How long can one BL-SG pad last when polishing granite countertops? Is there a general service life?​

A: The service life varies by factors like granite hardness, pad grit (coarse grits wear faster than fine ones), and operation pressure. Typically, a 4-inch pad can polish 8-12㎡ of standard granite countertops (from 50# to 3000#). For buff pads (Black/White), they can handle 15-20㎡ of surface for final finishing.​

3.Q: Can this pad be used with low-speed polishing machines (below 1000rpm)? Will it affect the result?​

A: It is not recommended. The pad is optimized for machines with 1500-3000rpm. Low-speed operation (below 1000rpm) will make the diamond abrasive unable to fully contact and cut the stone surface, leading to uneven polishing, prolonged working time, and wasted pad life.
